Hello, I’m Griffin Huber
I’m a senior studying Graphic Design at Montana State University. With nearly a decade of experience in Adobe Creative Suite, I’ve built a strong foundation in digital design and a passion for creating innovative, visually engaging work that connects with people.
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, I come from a family that values creativity and artistic expression. My grandmother, an accomplished oil painter, and my great-uncle, Eliot Porter, a renowned landscape photographer, have both played important roles in shaping my creative path. Growing up surrounded by their art sparked my love for visual storytelling and exploration across mediums. That passion deepened during my time at the Denver School of the Arts, where I studied cinematography and film from sixth through twelfth grade. It was there that I first discovered Adobe Creative Suite and its ability to transform ideas into dynamic visual experiences.
I later served as Creative Director for Hippie Canyon Company, a headwear brand rooted in outdoor culture. In that role, I led branding and design initiatives that captured the spirit of adventure and authenticity. The experience gave me valuable insight into the business side of design and strengthened my drive to collaborate with brands that share a love for the outdoors.
Outside of design, I draw inspiration from nature, whether I’m mountain biking, climbing, skiing, or surfing. Those experiences continually influence my creative process, infusing my work with a sense of movement, energy, and connection to the natural world.
At Montana State University, I continue to refine my technical skills and creative vision as I prepare for a career in design. After graduation, I hope to join a design agency where I can help craft meaningful, emotionally resonant branding that inspires and connects.
